The Tax Bankruptcy Group focuses on representing clients in “tax-motivated” bankruptcy filings where the principal claim(s) in the case include substantial tax claims. The Tax Controversy Group focuses on resolving tax disputes involving the Internal Revenue Service and the various state taxing agencies – either administratively or as a federal or state litigation matter.

Two other practice groups – Criminal Tax Defense and Tax Compliance groups are expected to launch in May and June of  2023, respectively. These two additional practice groups will enable the firm to expand the scope of tax legal services, provide greater diversity in the types of tax cases we can handle, and service more clients.
